Sourwood Valley IT Services, a sole proprietorship of Dallas Vogler registered in Stokes County, North Carolina, began as Pinnacle View Web Hosting December 7, 1998 with the goal of providing cost-free Internet related services for congregations and agencies of the Moravian Church and for other entities associated with the church. Services provided included Web hosting, file transfer (FTP), Email (SMTP, POP3, anti-virus scanning), domain name lookup services (DNS), domain name management, website design, and technical support. Since January, 2004, all services have been provided by equipment owned by Sourwood Valley IT Services and located on-site.

Due to the decision of the owner of Sourwood Valley IT Services to further his education, an orderly shutdown of Sourwood Valley IT Services was announced on April 1, 2006 and was concluded on July 4 of the same year.
Sourwood Valley IT Services became active once again in early 2007 providing Website services exclusively for its owner.
Mr. Vogler earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree majoring in Networking Technology at Surry Community College in Dobson, NC in August, 2009.
Mr. Vogler is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology degree majoring in Information and Computer Technology at East Carolina University.
Mr. Vogler is a CompTIA Network+ Certified Professional and a Red Hat Certified System Administrator.
